We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Assistant Manager, Marketing & Sales, Business Development (e-Gov) to join our team. This position plays a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization’s e-Government solutions. This position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, generating leads, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the public sector. 

This role requires a strong understanding of government procurement processes, digital transformation in governance, and public sector business dynamics. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Business Development, Product, and Technical teams to align offerings with client needs and ensure successful project engagement and execution. 

Experience:  

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in marketing with exposure to government IT related projects.  
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service, IT Related Consulting Firms  

Additional Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from any discipline. (IT enable degrees are preferable). 
  • Must have Strong Presentation & communication skills in both English and Bengali. 
  •  Proven track record of managing large-scale e-government or digital transformation programs.  
  • Experience working with international donors, government ministries, or development partners is an asset.  
  • Excellent understanding of government functioning, procurement processes, and digital public infrastructure.  
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the e-Government sector  
  • Develop strategic marketing plans aligned with the e-Government market.  
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, visit reports.  
  • Weekly/monthly reporting to senior management on targets and achievements. 
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  

Responsibilities & Context  

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies for e-Governance and digital public service initiatives. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders at national and regional levels.  
  • Prepare and manage large-scale project documentation, RFPs, contracts, proposal submissions and reports for stakeholders.  
  • Monitor integrated marketing for e-governance initiatives.  
  • Design and manage campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including projects, communications, and government liaison units. 
  • Organize and support workshop and awareness programs for digital government initiatives.  
  • Alignment with government communication protocols.  
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders to promote citizen centric digital services.
